A Dedication to Lovers

I went to my grandparents' 30th Anniversary. It was awesome to look around a room of 40-50 people who all were related somehow. The reasons we were there were fine specimines indeed! I only hope to look as half as good as they do at their ages! I am dedicating this poem to them. Sometimes, there are life-long lovers.

Hold My Hand

The moon has not
even begun to go.
And the sun had yet to start
its brilliant shining flow.

I lay here thinking
about you all the time.
You're the only thing
that sticks inside my mind.

Through thick and thin
You're there by my side.
You promise to be there.
You keep me alive.

Today a Positive Epiphany

Today, I have decided, I will no longer tolerate negative people around me. I will not let others influence my own throughts, feelings, ideas or goals. I will choose to keep those around me who are postive. If a negative attitude ensues and continues, I will not continue the relationship.

Call me a bitch, call me cold. I dont give a shit. I want to be free of society's requirements that I have to deal with these people; that I am required in some bent sort of reality that it is my duty to fix those around me.. to allow them to bring me down. I WILL NOT!

I am done. I will be happy. I have had enough negative in my life. I choose the road less traveled.
