Dear Grandma,
I want to thank you for all you have done for me and our family.
Thank you for being the rock in our home’s foundations.
Thanks to you, we are all strong, beautiful and loving people.
Thank you for being onery… and teaching us never to back down when we truly believed in something (or ourselves).
Thank you for having the courage to take care of a second generation of children.
Thank you for the sacrifices you made to keep us fed, warm and healthy.
Thank you for loving us, even when there were times we didn’t love ourselves.
Thank you for being our parent, when others weren’t able to.
Thank you for being real, and teaching us how to be truthful, even though it hurt sometimes.
Thank you for teaching us manners, and how to cope with all types of people.
Thank you for being hard on us, we needed it, but didn’t know it was what was best for us.
Thank you for being who you were. I love you Grandma, you are missed.
